Meet the Team
Ingrid Redford (she/her)
Ingrid is a senior majoring in neuroscience, biochemistry, and Scandinavian area studies, and minoring in Danish and bioethics. Her favorite part about AMSA is the community that we have. There is always someone there to ask for advice on classes, activities, and just to chat with. In her free time, Ingrid enjoys listening to podcasts, going for walks and runs around Seattle, and reading.
Gillian Soo (she/her)
Gillian is a senior studying neuroscience and linguistics. She enjoys hiking with her family, playing soccer, and exploring different art media in her spare time. She loves how AMSA brings together premeds and has given her a chance to make new friendships outside of the classroom.
Natalie Au (she/her)
Natalie is a senior studying MCD Biology and minoring in education, learning, and society. When she is not in class or at work, she enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants and cafes around Seattle. She loves the inclusivity of AMSA UW and the community of driven pre-med students that it has brought together.
Luke Jouppi (he/him)
Luke is a senior at the University of Washington majoring in Neuroscience. His favorite aspect of AMSA is the welcoming nature of our community and our members’ commitment to helping one another on their premedical journeys. In his free time, he enjoys creative writing, cartography, and cooking
Erik Odderson (he/him)
Erik is a senior majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Anthropology. He joined AMSA to explore leadership opportunities at UW in the premedical field. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time in nature, bonsai, and running. He will take any opportunity to work with other pre-medical students on their journey and is always available to chat.
Dave Young (he/him)
Dave is a sophomore majoring in MCD Biology and planning on double majoring in Psychology or Neuroscience. He joined AMSA to find a like-minded and welcoming community, and hopes to foster that as a director. He plays chess and badminton, as well as swimming in lakes in his free time.
